Jam24Music Terms and Conditions

Registration

To upload digital files or to advertise and sell physical media or other goods, the seller must register with Jam24Global, trading as Jam24Radio, Jam24Muisc and Jam24Music and their associated websites.

Copyright

When uploading copyright eligible material (including, but not limited to, songs, pictures, photographs, digital or physical media or goods) you will be required to tick (check) a box confirming that you have the permissions and are the copyright holder of the material for sale. This confirms that you hold the legally required copyright and permissions for the material and/or goods.

Jam24Global is in no way responsible and holds no liability for copyright claims against any person or registrant to the Jam24Global e-commerce platform who have posted goods, whether digital or physical, for sale. Copyright, and any copyright disputes, are solely the responsibility of the registrant or owner.

If Jam24Global is informed of, or otherwise suspects that, any material, whether digital or physical, does not have the appropriate ownership and copyright credentials, Jam24Global will remove the material from sale and will notify the seller or registrant of the removal within 10 working days. The seller or registrant can appeal the decision. Appeals must be in writing and sent to the Jam24 postal/street address (which are available on our websites. Our physical and postal addresses are currently the same). The seller/registrant must provide sufficient proof of ownership and/or copyright within 10 working days. Any reinstatement of the material will be at the discretion of Jam24Global.

Offensive Language or content (Physical, digital in any medium)

Jam24Global requires that all offensive material – that which may be considered offensive by a reasonable person – is censored from the e-commerce site. For instance a slogan on a t-shirt that may reasonable cause offense must block out the offending word(s) or picture(s).

If music contains adult themes or offensive language, it may be sold on the Jam24Global e-commerce platform, but an adult advisory label or warning text must be shown alongside the item for sale.

Complaints about inappropriate language or offensive content must be dealt with by the seller/registrant.

Process for dealing with complaints to Jam24Global from purchasers

If Jam24Global is concerned about the content of any seller/registrant on the Jam24Global e-commerce platform due to receiving a number of complaints about a seller/registrant, Jam24Global will:

  1. Contact the seller to discuss the complaints with the aim to come to an agreement on creating less-offensive materials
  2. If the seller does not wish to change the nature of their materials for sale, then Jam24Global will:
  1. Highlight the offensive nature of the seller’s goods on the e-commerce platform;
  2. Remove the offending items; and/or
  3. Remove the seller from the e-commerce platform.

Although Jam24Global will give due consideration to the nature of complaints and of the offending materials, Jam24Global has the final say in what action to take.

Reimbursement

The Jam24Global e-commerce system will allow sellers/registrants to transfer funds from the Jam24 e-commerce platform to the seller’s nominated bank account. The registrant will receive 90% of the sale value. Jam24Global will receive 10% of the sale value.

A seller can price all their goods (digital or physical) at whatever price they wish. Physical goods will be managed and delivered by the seller/registrant. Jam24Global will not hold any physical stock for any seller. Jam24Global will digitally host the digital files that are offered for sale by the seller.

Jam24Global holds no claim whatsoever on the copyright of any digital content uploaded by sellers/registrants.

Jam24Global takes no responsibility or liability for the amount of sales generated on the Jam24Global platform. Use of the Jam24Global e-commerce platform in no way guarantees sales of the material(s) posted.

The seller/registrant must make all attempts to address their customer’s concerns or issues, including refunds, without the involvement of Jam24Global. However, sellers are able to contact Jam24Global via our info@jam24music.com email address if needed.

Sellers/registrants are responsible for their own VAT and any other tax payments for the sales of their digital and/or physical goods, as well as shipping costs. These can be determined within the e-commerce platform.

Sellers/registrants can not claim from Jam24Global any of the commission Jam24Global receives from the sales of goods on the Jam24Glaobal e-commerce platform (Jam24Music). Jam24Global will retain 10% of all sales, at whatever price paid as renumeration for the provision and maintenance of the e-commerce platform.

Jam24Global will not receive any greater sum than 10% via sales on the e-commerce platform. Sellers/registrants may contact Jam24Global if they have evidence that Jam24Global has taken more than 10% of sales revenues and request payment of any difference.
